Toshiba 10.1-Inch Netbook Hardshell Case (Black)

Interesting idea, but the bent lip on one side which I suppose makes inserting the laptop easier takes up more room in your briefcase, backpack etc. Also, the case is on the heavy side which diminishes the experience of having a featherweight netbook.

All that said, the darn thing's pretty strong, except for the edges.

This thing is great for setting your netbook on your lap, or anywhere but two things make it less than perfect: the bottom inch or so of both sides are exposed to open air (and dust/rain), and there's no snap or velcro strip to use that will keep the netbook from slipping out of the case if it's accidentally turned upside down. A velrco cover for the top opening would best, but just a strap to keep it in place would be nice. You have to be careful not to let the netbook slip out. But due to its shape it does grip the netbook a little. Still, I'd prefer the strength of a dedicated strap to keep accidents from happening.

If I lost this thing, I'd definitely buy another one though. It beats all the others out there just because of it's utility in making the "laptop" function so comfortable.

I would not call the handy little cover a "Case" since it doesn't hold the netbook as securely as I would like & does not have a cover on all sides. BUT it is so handy to hold the netbook on your lap or on a desk, I use it constantly. It looks good with my black Toshiba netbook and the lip keeps the netbook secure in use. I use it to keep the netbook secure in a suitcase rather than in a briefcase so it is fine. It doesn't have a place for the power cord or mouse but that is not a problem on a battery operated trip to the office or the coffee shop. If you have enough battery life, that is not a problem. Over-all, I'd buy another one in a minute.

My Toshiba netbook fits perfectly. It is easy to slip the netbook in and out it is easy to carry, and good protection. The corded adapter doesn't fit in the case, and it would be nice if it did, but I knew that when I bought it. With the long battery life on the netbook, it is not as inconvenient as it might be, but still costs a star...it is easier to keep track of everything when it stays together. I am getting a small fabric pouch with drawstrings for the adapter that I can strap to the handle, which I think will improve the convenience of the carry case significantly. Makes travel so much easier, and in this day of checked luggage fees, I am less likely to have to check a bag, so I figure this will pay for itself quickly.

This is a great little case for my Toshiba mini NB205.

The size is perfect to fit just the laptop in, but I wish there was a pocket/room to store the mouse and charger. However, the case will fit nicely into my messenger bag for school without any damage. I will add that I wish there was another convenient handle so I can carry the case in one hand if I didn't want to put in my backpack. Also, I wish the case was lined with a zipper or protective strap in case the laptop may fall out if turned upside down or sideways. It does make a wonderful stand so the laptop can be in my lap or be set on a workable surface. The case as a stand protects my NB from public surfaces that may have food, water, dust, etc. on them (just for extra caution). This case looks and feels well made and sturdy, so I assume it will last me a long time.

Overall, wonderful product and I would recommend this to anyone.
