WhodaThought Mrs. Smith's Classic Pack Diaper Bag

WhodaThought Mrs. Smith's Classic Pack Diaper Bag, Black Neoprenegot the mrs smith classic pack in black neoprene for my hubby n after putting up with it for 4 months, he has refused to use it ever again..he hates having to readjust the straps as they tend to lengthen when carrying it around (a prob we never had when carrying the same amount in our prev diaper bag) and its only been 3 months and one of the strap is already tearing..

PRO:

-top interior has: shallow top shelf with 2 insulated/waterproof pockets for bottles, 2 velcro pockets and 1 elastic open pocket. the flap has an area to hold their rolled up changing pad. i can fit 2 cloth diapers, wipes container, wet/dry bag, small collapsible purse with wallet, cosmetic bag, mini "first aid" kit, small rattle and a little more room to spare for any more small items. it is shallow so easy to see, but not alot of big items can be fit in after putting in the above items.

-bottom interior has: 2 waterproof section in a removable shelf. i have an infant, so i just put a change of clothes (onesie, pants, hat, socks, velcro swaddle blanket, hooded zipper sweatshirt).

-exterior has: deep back pocket (can fit a magazine, blanket, or padded changing pad), 1 side drawstring pocket for water bottle, 2 side velcro pockets for cell phone/mp3 player, clasp for keychain, 1 side mesh elastic pocket.

-comes with a changing pad (one piece of fabric, not padded).

-This bag helps keep you organized so you don't have that "treasure chest"/"black hole" problem.

CON:

-straps broke off after a few uses. Yes, I read the comments to the previous review. However, it only took about 5 outings before the straps started breaking off. But seriously... What mother has the time to go through the stress of dealing with a broken backpack falling off her back while holding her baby?! Come on peoples. It took me forever to look for a diaper backpack, and then I find the straps ripping off. So embarrassing. With a 3 month old infant, I barely get the time to go grocery shopping.

-When empty, this backpack has some weight. To me, the empty backpack is heavy. I'm a petite woman and my 3mo old infant demands to be held all time in a baby carrier, so everything counts.

-Although there's alot of compartments for small items, there wasn't enough space for big items.

-Must use two hands to open and close this backpack. If you have a crying infant who needs to be held, this isn't easy to maneuver with.

-When I'm at the restroom's diaper changing station, I'm forced to put this backpack on the dirty floor because this backpack is too heavy to deal with while changing my baby's diapers.

-Did not like the provided changing pad. It is one sheet of fabric. It would be nice if there was some padding. Also, you can't put the changing pad back in its pocket with one hand.

This bag allows you to keep organized for the most part, but the zippers aren't easy to use with one hand. This bag might be lightweight compared to other diaper bags, but I wouldn't consider it lightweight compared to a Lesportsac or Jansport backpack of the same size.. this backpack's fabric just doesn't make this the most lightweight backpack out there.

I visited their website and sent a complaint, but no response. Bad service.... Problem NOT SOLVED!
