I bought this backpack in the Tartan design, and it's really pretty. Not only can you put your tablet in a pocket that is lined with felt, but you can also put your laptop in another pocket that is also lined with felt. Additionally, there is a small pocket in the front that is also lined with felt that you can put your cell phone in. (All the felt is a gray color) That latter pocket is right next to the obligatory slots where you can put pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. And, if not all of your books are on the tablet or PC, then there is another space where you can put your everyday textbooks, and notebooks-if you don't end up putting something else in that pocket like a change of clothes, if you need it, or anything else that you may need. And, you get the checkered pattern in purple and gray on the outside, but there is a beautiful floral pattern fabric that has purples, yellows, reds, and greens that line every part of the interior of this backpack, besides the gray felt that are there for all of your electronics. It really is an awesome utilitarian, purposeful backpack that also incorporates design. And, I know that the other person who left a review about the backpack being perfect for petite girls, but as a bigger girl, I wanted you to know that the straps are all adjustable, and the fit is perfect for us bigger girls as well! If I had to do over again, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this backpack again!!!!

I am a pretty thin person and I liked this bag a lot because it fit me perfectly. A lot of the other backpacks I tried were very big but this one had tons of space to store all of my things without overpowering my small frame. I love that it has fleece lined pocket to store my sunglasses so I don't have to worry about them getting scratched or damaged.

I received this backpack shortly before going on vacation and love it. I carried it around for the entire week while hiking and it held everything that I needed for the day. The number of pockets is perfect and each one gives me a specific place to put my things and stay organized. My 15" MacBook Pro fits into the fleece lined laptop compartment while still inside its neoprene case. My iPad also fits into the iPad pocket inside of its case. The straps are comfortable even after a few hours of moderate hiking with the backpack pretty full. I purchased this backpack for college in the fall and am very pleased with the amount of space inside and the overall size of the backpack. I am small, but this backpack does not weigh me down or look huge on me. The only thing that I wish was included would be a waist strap. I own a L.L. Bean backpack with a waist strap and after using it realize what a huge difference distributing the weight of the backpack to your hips can make. I ordred the Sierra pattern and like that it gives some flavor to the look of the backpack without being too loud. I am very pleased with this backpack and highly recommend it.

Nothing cheap about this bag. I've had it for over a year now & there's still no sign of wear or tear. Has tons of pockets and storage that are very handy. Just barely fits my 15 inch dell but it does the job. Overall, nothing negative to say about this product or the shipping.

I'm a law student who carries on average two case books (large textbooks), a couple supplements (size of typical paperbacks), legal note pad, and a couple folders. And that is in the major compartment of the backpack. In the other compartments I can fit a 15 inch Samsung laptop, power cord, wireless mouse, 10" tablet, wallet, keys, pens, note cards and some basic make-up. Needless to say this backpack holds a lot. I've had it now for 4 months and its very sturdy. I needed a large backpack to carry all my stuff (especially laptop) but wanted something sort of feminine, this pack is perfect. I got the "Black Cherry", it's got some feminine accents but isn't too girlie/childish. It also fits my smaller frame where as some of the backpacks I had before were to long and did not hang properly causing back problems. I highly recommend this someone that needs to carry a lot but wants something sort of pretty.
