Our 22 month old son is very independent and we knew he would want to push our luggage around once we got to the airport on our upcoming trip. So I looked around for a suitcase type that would allow him to carry/drag his own luggage so he would leave ours alone. This is perfect size with wheels for him to drag and as a back pack for either him or us to carry. We have not yet given it to him, but I know he will love it.

Pros: Perfect size for a toddler, allows him to feel he is participating in the luggage carrying task, decent quality material, wheels or straps, bright colors, 2 separate compartments.

Cons: The zipper does not open the entire way on either compartment, so although you could fit an 11.5/8 size book in the bigger compartment it is hard to get it in and just as hard to get it out. Same with the smaller compartment. If they would make the zippers to open all the way (like they do in regular backpacks) it would be much easier to fit larger books in it and easy for a child to remove. For now I would have to wiggle the bigger books into the back of the compartment then stack the smaller ones on top. To take them out I would have to empty out the entire bag. So one cannot just reach in and pull out the bigger items. Also the handle pulls out but it is short. It may be a good length for him, but for an adult it is very short.

However, for our purposes, as an entertainment for him and so he feels he is partaking in the trip like the adults, it is perfect. I gave it 4 stars as the zippers opening all the way would make a significant difference to the product, so there is room for improvement.
