Level III LV3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--OD GREEN

I bought this three day Molle pack with the intetntion of using for day to day carrying of personal effects, etc. Lately I have been working as a handyman and the bag works well for carrying light tools, my lunch, an extra hoodie and whatnot. The pockets are spacious although they look small. You can fit alot more in the pack than you think. Water bladder pocket, too. My only real complaints are that the cord hanging from each zipper pulls right off with little resistance, and the interior pockets have pretty much fallen apart (I rarely used them anyway). If you are planning on buying this pack to augment an actual soldiers' kit... well I would say no way. If you want something that is going to last through a deployment or even Field Training, save up some cash and get Maxpedition, Blackhawk, or Voodoo Tactical. This bag is okay, but not tough enough for actual military use.

I bought this pack to do some camping with. While it looked smaller than expected upon arrival, I am able to get everything I need for a hike or overnight trip. Two days ago I packed it with:

This pack has ample MOLLE straps. I strapped my sleeping bag to the bottom of the pack with the MOLLE straps, and strapped my Gerber Machete and Gerber folding saw to the pack as well. It was heavy, for such a small pack, but the room was utilized well, and the weight distributed well. There is a pocket for a hydration bladder, which I may buy as well... For the price, I was impressed.

Ordered this pack expecting a pack of bigger size. Once I filled it up with what I had for a 3 day assault I was surprised at how much it held. Good pack at a good price. Shoulder straps aren't the most comfortable and are odd to adjust. But all in all a great pack for the money.

I was impressed at first with this bag. It has a good layout and design. Lots of space and pockets to put things. It did however develop a tear along the seam of the main compartment the day I purchased it. I'm not sure how common this issue is but I need a bag to last and be tough, the seams of this bag seem poorly constructed and weak. I returned it for a full refund.

I got mine from another site, but these bags are all the same. The straps are bad, just some padding on nylon straps. A lot of the molle section on mine are differently spaced, some large, others too small to attach a molle bag to. I would have liked to see another molle strip on the side of the bag, so there would 3 instead of the 2 it has. On the plus side the inside storge it pretty good. Overall not a bad bad, but could be better.
