Stephen Joseph Boys 2-7 Rolling Backpack

I ordered this for my 3 year old son when we went to Hawaii, I figured he'd get a kick out of pulling his own suitcase and we could store all his travel entertainment in there...it arrived and yes, it's definitely cute...but good grief, I couldn't even get a coloring book in there without rolling it up...and then there would be no room for anything else. Plus it barely zipped open. I ended up returning it and getting a Mickey Mouse rolling backpack that fit all sorts of stuff in there, plus it had a pocket on the side, a drink pocket, and the zipper opening is huge. I gave this 2 stars because it is pretty well made and very cute...for an infant

I got this for my 16 month old before a trip along with some plane books and toys. He was as excited about the bag as the toys! Know that the bag isn't for packing a trip's worth of clothing (too small), but it was perfect for toys and snacks on the plane. The zipper only opens the bag at the top and halfway down each side. I was at first annoyed by this, but we lose toys like it's going out of style. Nothing has mistakenly dropped out of this bag, and I think it's likely due to the zipper arrangement. My son loved having his own bag for our travels, and we haven't been able to put it "away" in the month we've been home. It gets rolled around the house daily. We haven't used the backpack straps, but I don't mind that they are there. Maybe he'll use it later. Or not. The rolling action is what he loves. This bag makes my son really happy and that makes me really happy. What else can you ask for in a bag?

I highly recommend these backpacks. I think I have gotten around 7 of them now. I bought the first one, a monkey backpack, for my 3 year old to take to pre-school. He LOVED it, and took it everywhere, not only school. Then his brother, a 1.5 year old, got his hands on it and fighting ensued. I got another one, an airplane backpack, so that they each had one. They both wheel them around all over the place and have even used them for trips through the airport, to the amusement of the other passengers. They are cute, well-made, light and easy to use. The designs are cute. I now buy them for the many birthday parties that come up. The kids love them. Great gift. Great backpack. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this item as a gift for my 2 y/o nephew. My sister and her husband work in different cities, so they are frequently schlepping from one to the other, and I thought a suitcase for J would be of use. I love the style of this case. My complaint is that, when I purchased it on Amazon, it was not clear to me that the size of the case is closer to the size of a large diaper bag. However, my nephew loves to pack it full of toys to take to Grandma's house.

This was a gift for my 4 year old nephew. He loves it! It fits plenty of little toys but is small and light enough that even when packed it's easy for the little dude to wheel it around on his own. Very cute!
