Also, for the average tech geek (with lots of plugs, earphones, adapters, mp3 players, cables, etc) this bag is probably not going to have enough compartments. There should have been a couple more compartments on the side and in the back, in my opinion.
Which is not to say this isn't a good bag. The extra straps are nice, and the snaps are pretty secure. It's lightweight for easy carrying, although it can be on the flimsy side, depending on your taste.
Personally, I wouldn't buy this bag again, as I prefer a heavier duty bag with a bit more padding, bigger sleeve (adjustable would be nice), and more gadget compartments. If you have a slimmer laptop, though, and you like traveling light, this'll probably do the job.

I have been using my bag for 3 weeks now and so far so good. Pro's two main pockets with medium cushion for the computer, slot for notebook and a roomy pouch for cords, pens, lunch, water bottle, etc. I find that I can stuff this bag and then carry it on my back. Cons I mention that it's a little pricey because the top handle and strap are poor quality and given the simplicity of the design and features I would expect the price point to be ~$75. I'm fine with the purchase and I like the fact that it's not the same bag that everyone is carrying.Read Best Reviews of Manhattan Portage Commuter Laptop Bag with 17- Inch Laptop Sleeve Here
