My littlest guy loves anything Studio Ghibli so when searching for a new backpack I went on a hunt for one with characters from the movies he loves. This Totoro backpack was just about the only one I could find for a reasonable price! First, let me say it looked like any other backpack for school you would by in any store. But after getting it out of its plastic the canvas material does feel slightly heavier to me then backpacks I've purchased before. The image is very clear and really nice and my son was ecstatic!! The real test for "mom" was how long it would go before it started to get holes or tears. My guy is SUPER hard on packs (he should get a job testing luggage, really!), so hard in fact I haven't had a backpack that didn't have a hole or tear in it within a couple weeks of his use. Totoro has held up for almost 2 months now without a sign of abuse! Price + Look + durability = 1 happy mama!
