The wire which is intended to hold the skis is easy to pull out but when you need to pull it back into the pack it catches. The pack I got had already been slightly damaged by someone trying to use the tape to pull the wire back into the pack when it was stuck. This is a serious flaw with this equipment as you dont want the wire dangling out when you are about to do a descent and you dont want to have to unpack to pull it in.
Great pack, big enough to fit everything, stiff enough to hold it's own shape. With enough pockets and compartments to store everything. So enamored by this pack went and splurged on more Dakine bags.
