This bag is made from recycled materials yet it does not lose functionality or form. It has very nice design features that make it unique among the clutter of backpacks. the top zipper is shallow to keep keys, wallet, etc. The next set is for the main compartment. The front zip is for flat objects such as a book (or as we use it, for diapers and wet tissues).Customer service at Ecogear is great as well. We had a defective zipper and I asked to get a pre-paid shipping label to get it fixed and instead they sent a brand new one (once we showed proof of purchase) within a couple of days!

Review Update:
The bag started ripping in several areas: the bottle net, inside top compartment and one zipper no longer works. The very thin material leads me to think that it's designed to last 1 year or less. Treat it as a fashion statement, not a functional bad.
