I recently purchased this item. It gets the job done but its definitely not the best. This bag works great for carrying things other than books. I tend to use it more for when I do things like exercise or play sports where I don't have many things to carry. There are only 2 compartments and the big compartment is a bit small though. It does fit my 8x11 notebooks and books, but it really can't fit anything much bigger because of the triangluar shape and it only fits 2-3 of my books at a time.As for the durability, the bag itself seems pretty durable(I just got it), but there is a plastic clip on the sling, which is convenient but it does seem to be cheaper plastic. I accidentally stepped on it when my bag was laying on the ground and it cracked in half, but its still working, so far.
