UPDATE: These backpacks are now being sold by Amazon at a reasonable price (less than $25). In the past, they were being sold by third-parties sellers at $60-75. That was a complete rip-off. At less than $25, these are a great purchase. My son received his as part of a set from Nickelodean that included a learning kit and the backpack for $30. He has had it for more than a year and it has held up exceptionally well. No tears, pulls or problems with the zipper. He loves taking Geo, Milly, and Bot to school!

Honestly, this is not a review about the bag itself, but about the price. Who would pay this much for a backpack for a toddler??? For this much I can buy the kid a bag from the Coach store lol. A little person very near and dear to me asked for this backpack. I hopped on my good friend Amazon because they have everything you can think of at a great price, right? WRONG. We are pleased with this item. Many backpacks out there are too big and bulky, but if you have a preschooler, this backpack will fit him/her perfectly. There are three compartments on the front and one on each side. The straps are padded for comfort. These straps are also adjustable. There is a handle to hang the backpack. My son will be using this backpack when he starts Pre-K in the fall. If the backpack makes it through the year, I will write back with more good news!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter was excited to get this backpack and to bring it to school. It is spacious and well made. It holds her lunch box and a folder as well as her school projects. The only drawback is that my daughter is very thin and small and the straps adjust but not quite small enough for her back. The backpack hangs a bit when she has it on. For a child who is a bit bigger it is probably just fine. Overall a good value though. Even though it's a bit big for her she will grow into it I'm sure. It makes her happy ...she said "Now I have a big backpack like the other kids".

I ordered the math kit and backpack mid to early September. Like many other parents here, my son really just wanted the backpack. I received the math kit shortly after placing the order but the real "prize," the backpack, suddenly went on back order. I have been disappointed as has my son.
