Very happy with this backpack. I dropped my 15" MacBook Pro a couple of months ago and had to pay >$600 to get it fixed (BTW: don't do that). Since I'm obviously very clumsy, I decided a nearly indestructible bag was the way to go. This bag is comfortable on my back, but it is heavy. Still, I wouldn't trade it for another...very happy with this purchase.
It has ample space for all the extras, including my ipad and some dry clothes for a day in the wild while taking photos or bouncing around on a small boat going to remote and sometimes rainy locations. Pelican makes great products, from their dry boxes to this fine backpack, and I would highly recommend to anyone who really wants the best protection for a 15 inch thin notebook.I work out in Qatar and it get to 50c and more this is what I need to protect my mac book pro from the elements.This product is Ok, not fabulous but ok.
For the next time I would like to see more photos from the inside.my only disappointment was my dell XPS15 is a little too thick to fit in the compartment. It just fits shut but is not likely waterproof. I wish they had published the thickness allowed. I might have to buy a new laptop to fit the bag.
