Traveler's Choice Rome 29 in. Hardshell Spinner Suitcase

I bought this piece for my girlfriend to travel to Europe with. By the time she reached me, the fabric that covers the spine of the case was completely undone, and the casters seemed to be on the very brink of failing.

She's attempting to contact the supplier or the manufacturer to remedy the situation. I would love nothing more than to report in a follow-up that the suitcase is being replaced. Perhaps we got a bad one, or perhaps it doesn't stand up to even one trip.

I'll post the results of her warranty claim.

This whole line of luggage is garbage. I've had three pieces thus far. The first piece broke on the second trip I took it on. I watched the bell boy carefully set it on the ground and the wheel snapped right off. I couldn't believe it. I was able to get the hotel to replace it, eventhough I told them I didn't think it was their fault. The stuff looks rugged but it certainly isn't. I got a replacement bag and after one trip a hole appeared in the side of the bag. My wife has taken her bag on three trips and when we retrieved it from the belt this trip a corner of her bag is missing. Honestly, you'd be better packing your stuff in something made of egg shells. I have never had this kind of experience with luggage and definitely won't be buying any more of this luggage.

I thought I had taken a gamble on this one after reading negative comments.

However this hardshell spinner is great in my opinion!

Having two separate compartments for each lid separated by a zipper is great!

I can pack for two and not have items mix up inside.

Also, I love that even for a 29 inch size, this is remarkably light, yet feels durable enough as to not fall into pieces.

I've made 2 international flights totaling 6 airports and this guy has taken the handler's abuse like a champ!

I will go through 3 more airports in the next couple of weeks and will be checking how it does and might make updates as needed, but so far I am rather satisfied with my purchase!

nice suitcase for the price took it on 2 trips so far how ever a small but deep scratch did come on the surface. easy to handle my 4 yr loved pulling it in the airport

Just got back from a 7 day Cruise and this suitcase was great. The wife super over-packed and it came through better than I thought it would. If you need a great bag I highly recommend this one.
