If you are looking for an ACTUAL distressed LEATHER Messenger Bag, do NOT order this one. Contrary to what the photos show and what the description states, this bag is actually thin suede and not distressed at all. Granted, suede is a form of leather but they should state "Suede" somewhere in the description. The photos show a bag that appears to be full-grain or top-grain leather, not a nappy thin piece of nasty suede. If you even tried to use this as an actual messenger bag, you would be lucky to get a few weeks out of it before it started to fall apart. Suede was never meant to be used for heavy duty applications such as messenger bag use.

I am very pleased with the value and quality of the briefcase. The tan color can be darkened with mink oil. I oiled it because the tan color was bright. Great style!

Nice bag. The picture makes it look a little darker than it actually is. Love the bag, though. Similar bags look too much like purses, but this one does not.
