This backpack worked for my daughter. That being said, the straps came apart for no reason, they were not even used. I would recommend that this backpack not be purchased.
Nice looking bag but it fell apart after only 1 month of regular school use by my 7-year-old daughter. One strap tore for no apparent reason, the frame separated from the bottom of the bag, all on its own, and the wheels got jammed. Poor quality all around. Total waste of money.

the base is defective and the bag will not stand on its own. since it went overseas the exchange is impractical and I had to do extensive repairs
