I must say that this bookbag is overpriced like ALL backpacks...BUT, it's so adorable!! I gave it 4 stars because it is exactly as shown. There's no MAJOR difference in durability from any other character bookbag. I got it because my daughter loves monkeys and I like Paul Frank. I had to buy this before next school year for fear they would be sold out. There's no real special compartments to get excited about...no ipod slots...etc. It is what it is. So, if you like Paul Frank or monkeys and just want this bookbag...get it! My 9 year old loves it and it will last her just like any backpack.
My 8 year old daughter has been using this backpack for maybe 2 months, and so far it's held up well. It is a good-sized backpack for her age and fits everything she needs.
