Today my Rustic Leater Distressed Messenger Briefcase arrived what a beautiful bag. It is everything I hoped for. I am a high school teacher in the Bronx and the only indulgence I go through this time of year is selecting a briefcase. I searched the net for two weeks. This is the one! It will be perfect for me and my daily materials. I love the size and it arrived two days after I purchased it from Amazon. My students are into backpacks and they love Northface. Wait until they see this leather and look at the craftsmanship I try to get them to think about teaching someday. I will tell them that they too will be able to carry around a beautiful briefcase. I expect that the tests, essays and projects they have ahead of them this year should be worthy of great grades since their work will travel home in my magnificent bag!

First off, let me give you a little reasoning why I got the bag. I just graduated college and was looking to buy a nice looking bag that also looks rugged, because I would not want to be carrying around a bag that looks really shiny, just not my style. So, I did a little research on different rugged looking bags, and wanted to buy a bag made from U.S. leather by Americans to try to support American jobs. I emailed a few of the bag companies and asked them where there bags were made at and found this is one of the few ones that is made in the U.S. And I thought it was great that the customer service person who was emailing me back was the person who makes the bags wife.
I ordered the bag late on a Friday and it arrived on Monday morning, which was a lot faster than Amazon's prediction of me getting the bag next Monday, the shipping did cost about $20, but I think to get it here in a few days it was worth it.
I have to say it is a really nice looking bag, and it feels like it is going to hold up for years to come, I was actually trying to tug on some of the weak points and I felt no pull on them. It also holds the stuff that I will need for work, and that is my portfolio which measures 13 1/2 inches by 11 inches, and my laptop which is a 13" Macbook Pro, and still has the front pocket on the inside to hold smaller things like my laptop charger or lunch. Another thing I liked about the bag was all of the different D-rings on it, these are there to turn it into a backpack if needed, or to hook other things to it. I will do another review on this bag in a few months and tell you how it is holding up.
For the video review, turn up the volume, it recorded really low.Hands down, this is the best bag I have ever had in my life ! And, the way this bag is made, sturdy and solid, it will last multiple lifetimes !
