ASICS Mesh Backpack

I use this bag for my swim stuff... it holds a bath towel, and hand towel, my suit, a small bag of shower stuff, a small bag of makeup, my goggles, a brush, and still has a little room for other small misc. items like flip flops if you need it. The pocket is solid on the top, but you can see through it on the back since it is just a piece of material sewn to the mess bag. Works great for holding my wallet, cell phone and keys though. I love this bag especially for the price. It is bigger than it looks in the picture, so I hope my description of the contents it holds will help you understand the size.

I wanted a bag for a day trip that wasn't bulky like a school bag. This is perfect. Not bulky and big enough for a change of clothes etc, for the beach, and easy for the kids to carry themselves. Don't let the price discourage you. I thought for $5.99 it would be cheap and small, but it wasn't.

I guess I expected too much from this based on the good reviews.

Here's the stuff I don't like:

The small pocket is separated only from the main compartment with mesh. That means if I put my earbuds in there, they are getting dirtied by my shoes in the main part of the bag.

Straps are too small to wear as a backpack when the bag is full.. made for a child really.

Not really that big as the other reviews seemed to indicate. It's a tight fit for my shoes, a pair of shorts, and weight lifting gloves.

Mesh is very thin.

Also, I don't think all the pictures on this page are for the same item. As you will see, some appear to be very dense soft mesh like a pair of gym shorts. My buddy has one like this and its very nice. The one I got was very thin mesh.

All of this probably would have added up to a 3 star review, except the thing broke apart at the seam after only a couple of months.

i ride a bike often, and as the weather changes, so must your clothes.early morning rides require wind proof jacket ,gloves etc for comfort. after warm up this mesh bag is the perfect place for your cover gear to dry out as you continue your ride. the bag is very light and easily stufs in your shirt pocket untill needed.

The bag seemed good at first, but after less than a week. It started to fall apart. The strings fall off, holes opened up near the bottom. And I didn't put anything heavy in there... Just two small hand towels, jump rope, hand chalk, and a light knee brace. Just pay a little more and get a better bag.
