Gregory Women's Maya 18 Backpack

I am absolutely in love with this pack. I recently returned from a trip to Norway (with hiking) and Belgium (with city exploring) and am now completely in love. The bag is the perfect size for daytime exploring and day hikes. The pockets are deep enough to hold a camelbak water bottle, and it can also hold a camelbak bladder if you're into that. The pockets and zippers are well thought-out. As I used the back more, I found new uses for pockets and hooks and things. It was great in the airport as well because it fit below the seats. We packed larger backs for a 2 week Europe trip and then put these packs inside to use for daytime excursions. I selected this pack because it didn't have a solid back, and it could be packed up.

I got this for my pink loving, 5'10" wife to hold several days items for a short trip in Palau. Ya not going to cut it. This bag would be great for hiking for a half day, or biking. This would hold her shoes, 3 sweat shirts, a water bottle and a cell phone. We were looking for something bigger. However if you are looking for something small, this is it. It has great looking construction. Elastic and padding in all the right places. Quality zippers, stitching, materials, and a smart webbing type system on the back of it. It would make it really easy to take off your a layer and stow it; without even unzipping anything. Either side will hold a full size water bottle. She was pretty sad about the size, because she really likes the look of it. Be well all. I hope this helps.
