I bought this messenger bag as a birthday gift for an Anime-obsessed young girl in my youth group. SHE LOVED IT!!! It looks even BETTER in person and is amazingly DURABLE! For real, I haven't seen her without it slung over her shoulder since the day she unwrapped it. Seriously...even at church! Which is why I can attest to its durability. After months of constant wear and use, it still looks BRAND NEW! (I only worry that I should have bought a bag that carried less; you can put a lot of books, pens, personal items, etc in this bag...I made her promise to at LEAST switch off shoulders so she doesn't throw her back out or screw-up her spine. Yikes!)For real though, if you know someone who LOVES Soul Eater (which I've never even watched), this is apparently THE GIFT. Everyone at her Anime club at school now looks longingly at this bag--which cracks me up. As it turns out, you can buy yourself "street cred" in the Anime world--with awesome, authentic, and useful Soul Eater accessories like this. BEST REACTION TO A GIFT I EVER BOUGHT ANYONE EVER!!!

I really like the product. The bag is well made and doesn't feel cheap. It has a sturdy material. There is a ton of pockets for small things like pens, cell phone, or a DS. I like the size and the pockets because I like stuffing my bag with stuff. My only thing I hate about it is the bag is not rain proof. The cover on the top doesn't cover both ends. There is a gap between the cover and the bag. I wouldn't recommend using this bag in the rain if you care having the stuff in the bag getting a little wet.

Overall I like the bag and this is my first ever anime messenger bag. I have to use it for a bit to see how much I really like it.

Now I've owned quite a few Anime inspired bags over the years since my love for Japanese animation grew and I must say this is one of my favorites yet. It's durable, light weight, uses buckles instead of Velcro (a plus for me), and the Soul Eater design is better than the picture and not cheaply put on. The shoulder strap has an amazing length, which is hard to find (I'm 6'1" and with the strap all the way down and over my shoulder it hangs perfectly from my waist to my upper thigh). It's got enough room for almost anything you need; textbooks, notebooks, I can even fit my larger sized laptop in it and it appears as though it was made just for it.

This is a great bag, made fantastically, and a recommended purchase.

This bag is fraking AWESOME! I got it to act as a laptop/carry everything everywhere bag and man, this thing does NOT disappoint! Not only do I get sweet compliments on showcasing my affection for my beloved charaters and over all geekdom over anime, the bag is so well made! The strap is long enough to messenger sling it and still sit at a comfortable level not easy for a bag to do with my height and attributes. The material is sturdy, tough and stiched to last. The closure is a hard snap with adjustable straps, but don't hope for an inner zipper or anything. The image has stood the test of time and rain and being tossed about. No scratches our peel offs hard core quality as I've had the bag going on a year now. There is ample room in the bag, even with my computer. Typical contents: lap top in a padded sleeve, adapter, tablet, tablet adapter, headphones, cell phone, medium sized make-up bag, large fatty check book style wallet, small bottle of saline solution and contact case, couple of pens, gum, flip flops and paperback and I still have an empty pocket for what ever! I do wish there was a pocket on the insde with a zipper, but I'm asking for gold plated rims here. Super awesome choice and must have for any Soul Eater fan!!
