I have a 14.5" Dell laptop that I use this bag for. It is nicely protected and the slide pocket on the outside fits an engineering pad and a couple of pens. The small pockets get a bit tight when the computer and documents are stowed but its not a big deal.

Please see the attached video review. This bag is definitely high quality and worth the money, but if you have a typical laptop (not an ultrabook/thin laptop), then it will be extremely snug.

The sleeve is very slim and well built. It's a great bag if you only want to carry your laptop and its charger. However, actually using it revealed a flaw that I just could not live with there is no handle on the top of the bag. This means when I go to pick it up, I have to either grab the shoulder strap and let the bag swing and dangle, or try to go for the side handle, which is recessed and not easy to grab. This seems like a minor annoyance, but gets old in daily usage. I kept tried to convince myself I can get used to it, but after nearly a month of trying, I gave up and returned the bag and got the Case Logic DLC-115 15.6-Inch Laptop and Tablet Briefcase (Black) instead.

I was looking to ditch my large leather briefcase for a much smaller way to carry my laptop and papers to and from work. The sleeve fits my 15" Dell perfectly and I can fit a couple of folders with a few papers in the large outside pocket (and sneak a couple more in with the computer inside if needed.) If you have a tablet with a cover you might be able to fit that in with your laptop (I have an iPad 2 with a cover which nests well enough with the laptop inside the bag.)

The outside slip pocket is big enough for a smartphone but not much else (it is angled but not zippered, so be aware of how you are orienting the sleeve when carrying it)

The larger zippered pocket is good for storing the straps if you are not using them, perhaps some headphones, pens and perhaps some change. It's not big so you may need to be picky when deciding what to put in there. My laptop's large cord with power block might fit in there, but I have concerns that the bulky power block could damage the thin screen side of the laptop if it was dropped or otherwise made firm contact with the screen side of the laptop.

This sleeve fit the bill perfectly for me. If you're a packrat or looking for something to carry your computer and lunch then this isn't the bag/sleeve for you otherwise it's perfect for those traveling light.
