I was looking for a very light and simple pack to use training on the bike in winter. I don't need the 42 pockets and pouches of most bike specific hydration packs. The sleeve works for up to a 100oz bladder and there is a strap at the top that keeps it from slumping. Construction is superb as always with Arcteryx. The strap system out back works as designed and does help keep things cinched to some degree. I really only have one complaint the tiny internal pouch is extremely poorly placed. If you're using a hydration bladder the pouch is right in the way. Arcteryx would have been better off placing this small pocket as part of the outer fabric and creating external access, which would save one small piece of fabric as well. Still it's as close to perfect as I have found for my needs. I can carry 100 oz of H2O, spare gloves, a light puffy jacket or rain jkt and pants, and well as small sundries.
This is a great backpack for travel, running and biking. The size is perfect for a water bag and some food. It is very comfortable.
