Belkin F8N286qe Stealth Slip Case Water-Resistant Slim Profile Fits up to 13.3-Inch Netbook Notebook Laptop Tablet TouchPad iPad Messenger BagI researched about every possible small bag on Amazon before deciding on this one. I wanted to stay small and compact yet rugged and versatile. Did NOT need a big bag that holds a laptop...already have one of those. Just needed something my IPAD with cover and a small notepad could fit into. This one fit the bill well and being rain proof helped because my first trip with it was to San Diego and it rained a lot that week! The sealed zippers are very nice! My one and only complaint with the bag is the front pocket is pretty tight. I wanted to put a few things like a charging cable and charging plug in there along with maybe a couple snack bars, etc. I could make them fit...but just a bit tight. Pretty easily put them inside the bag though on the smaller side of the divider...so it worked out. Overall...very pleased with my purchase and would buy again!

A great minimalist bag for my 12.1" tablet PC (Dell XT2 11.7"x 9.2"x 1".)

The base of the bag is ridged enough for the bag to set upright, as pictured, w/o tipping over.

The handles are appropriately sized.

Main pocket has room for the PC and the additional slice battery. I measure the max internal dimensions to be 12"x 9.5"x 1_3/8"

Very light.

While the zipper appears to be the waterproof type, found on dry-suits and some ski jackets, it is not that good. However, it does appear to be more water resistant than typical zips.

Also, the zipper zips from one direction only.

The main pocket has a divider which can get in the way a bit, when inserting the laptop.

It has no backside slip pocket.

The front zip pocket is tight, and does not 'pocket' upward, behind the zipper.

I am changing my review of this item from very nice to poor craftsmanship. The warranty for this item expired on 1/31/13. Of course, it is now 2/19/13 and the stitching that keeps the handle on the case has fallen apart, though I have not used it often. To return it I'd have to pay for the shipping. I'll put some duct tape on it instead and deal with it. I'm disappointed with Belkin. I'd upload a photo but Amazon doesn't have that option.
