Doesn't look like a camera case, so far no flaws or functionality issues besides wishing the included camera soft case insert had a "lid" due to the top portion of the bag having no protection against damaging your high dollar glass or body. Easy fix, a non issue really. Perfect carry on size for my trip to Korea, room for my tablet an extra set of clothes my Nikon D7000 with the small pockets for extra sd cards batteries charging cords wireless remote and any other odds and ends things. Even the rain cover has proved itself useful! Great quality great price! I would suggest it to anyone and would buy another. All my camera equipment fits, small laptop or tablet and jacket. Water does fit in side pockets. Overall a very good bag-love the style and that it is not nylon. Great padding for camera and I carry two.Perfect for my trip to Peru. It's a has a very sturdy holder for the camera that gives the bag a good shape. Also, it fits my 15.4'' laptop perfectly in the back for those who were wondering (myself included). There's many different pockets and plenty of room for a jacket, a few books, and other personal items even with the camera and laptop in it. The backpack was much bigger than I had expected and the color is much darker and slightly greener in person. Not a big deal though. Great buy!the bag is really nice and functional for a camera bag. it can also be used just as a school bag with the padding taken off. what i did not like was that the straps were a bit thin and uncomfortable. also this is a really huge bag and when worn it will tend to look like it's sagging because the base of the bag is not padded or stiff.overall this would be a good camera bag or just a hiking/camping bag. it looks right when you put a lot of things in it.Bought this to take in van on African safari and I think it will be perfect. Camera feels hidden and, with the opening against my back, like it will be safe during my travels. The material is very heavy and sturdy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the color. I expected more of a dark khaki/tan color, but its green. Army green.
