I got the black one for myself and purchased this red one for my son who's favorite color is red. Easy to spot on the airport belt! Fabric is tough as nails and continues to look good after use. Though the zipper for the extending handle and the handle have gotten damaged during travel. Luckily Lipault stands by their product.

It was love at first sight when I stumbled on this online I was looking for a light colorful suitcase, with current baggage restrictions only being allowed 45lbs, it to me seams crazy to spend 15lbs just for the weight of the bagwell this is less than 7lbs, the 25" size is perfect for a week, I loooved the orange color. I think it was expensive to spend $160 on a suitcase when I can go to Marshals or TJ Max and get something nice for around $70 and I did just that at first, but simply no other would compare so I decided to bite the bullet and ordered this one.

I am SO happy I did, the color is great (ill never lose it), it is so light, and it is easy to pack with lots of room my only complaint would be that on the way home from a weeks' vacation (and lots of shopping) I had STUFFED it so much that I was afraid that it was going to literally burst at the seams, but it held up and now that it is empty again you can't tell. True it looks a little dirty after its maiden voyage but I have always liked getting that well-traveled look about a bag. It is well worth spending the extra money.

In an effort to reduce weight while travelling, I have been looking at the Lipault Plume for a while ... I truly dislike the industry trend of 4-wheeled spinners (spinners are impossible to tilt up and drag anywhere and even worse on carpet)So, I was pleased to find a super-lightweight bag with TWO wheels. Loved this beautiful purple bag as soon as I took it out of the box (2 days ago) ... A weeks worth of business attire, cosmetics and other accoutrements all fit easily in the 26" size ... along with two pairs of dress shoes, a pair of sneakers and a pair of flip flops. Easy to roll on fabulous in-line skate wheels ... Bag weighed in at 39 lbs when I checked into my flight today.

Upon arrival at my destination, I looped my briefcase to the bag and started through the airport. SNAP --one side of the pull up handle broke. Got on the train and made it to the rental car. Got out of the car at the hotel and SNAP ... the other side of the handle broke. So, here I am in my hotel room ... I have just ordered a replacement from Amazon to be shipped to me here (it should arrive in two days) -I will send the broken one back ... I will keep you posted on how the new bag holds up ...

I was looking for a very lightweight suitcase I could use cubes to organize. Its great!!! Folds to fit out of way when not in use. I have taken it on one overseas trip and will continue to use...

Only con: two wheels instead of four, not as easily rolled.
