My son outgrew his "toddler sized" backpack almost immediately and I knew he needed a regular sized backpack to fit his spare set of clothes, blanket and his pillow pet for preK (the smaller one he had was cute, but didn't hold all his stuff and I ended up juggling his blanket, pillow and lunchbox while trying to keep him close in the parking lots, which was a pain). This backpack holds them all AND he can pull it in since the rolling handle extends to the perfect length for a child to pull. Now getting in and out of school is a snap since the only thing I have to hold now his his little hand and he loves rolling his "pack-pack" into school!
