15.6" Laptop Sleeve with Extra Side Pocket , Soft Carrying Handle & Removable Shoulder Strap / Note

I purchased this item two months. Quality was the biggest thing on my mind, next to thinness and comfort. This sleeve case comes with everything I wanted:

> A removable shoulder strap with a cushion

> A handle for carrying

> An extra pocket for the charger, etc.

> double zipper and wide opening for easy entrance/removal of laptop

> nice design and thin build

Even with it's super thin build, there's still enough cushion to the sleeve to protect the notebook.

Of course there are flaws. The case has this very annoying squeak to it as you walk and it sways to your glide...most likely the material causes the squeak, but it makes you think that the strap will snap any second.

I knew from the moment I opened the packaging to the case that it will wear and tear sooner than I'd like. Where the straps clip to the case, the material is very weak. I feared either the clips would snap or the material would tear where there is majority pull...and what happened? A month later, the material ripped on either side, right below the hooked fabric that the clips clasp to.

I don't think it will turn extreme as to where the material rips all the way and the hooks detach or something. But the material is weak at the edges. I'm warning all buyers. The case is nice and has everything you need, but it's not the best quality material.

In of itself, the case is absolutely fantastic. It fits my Acer Inspire like a glove, and I still have room to throw in a notebook and a few other necessary supplies. The material was softer than what I expected, but it seems to provide enough cushion and protection. As an added bonus, the design is beautiful (as well as others by this company); I'm so glad that there are cases out there that aren't such a clunky design and are aesthetically pleasing.

Other reviewers have mentioned issues with the shoulder strap, and I echo that sentiment, but with one added comment: my strap broke within two hours of operation. TWO. HOURS. I wasn't even carrying my computer at the time, and only had two notebooks and a few pencils in the bag. Although not having the strap anymore is inconvenient, I like the rest of it enough to overlook this.

tl;dr: If you're looking for style, this is the perfect case. If you're looking for a shoulder strap, DO NOT BUY THIS.

Bag is new, but fits my 13.3 laptop that I keep in a sleeve or hard case. I decided to go with a 15" for extra room. This is lightweight and shoulder strap has no slip pad. There is room for other items and power cord etc.

Drawbacks: It does have new stinky smell that seems to be in so many neoprene and rubber imported items. Chemical odor will over power a room. I have it airing out in another room figuring eventually stink will go away, as other reviewers said. Who knows how toxic the odor is? Also it would be nice if similar products were being made in USA.

Despite that I really like the bag, so 5 stars it is.
