I bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday, & she thought it was the best gift ever! She is 6 years old! We are going on a trip to AZ in May, so she is really excited to use it! Very well constructed. Looks like it will hold up. I don't know if I would send it through baggage claim though. I definitely think this is for carry on only.

She loves it, but I just like it. the suitcase looks very nice but the plastic shell may not last as long as I would like.

But since this is for weekend trips to Nana's house it will work just fine.
