Ju-Ju-Be Be All Diaper Bag

I purchased the Be All in the Lotus Lullaby print. I got a great deal through Amazon-much cheaper than anywhere else...but I watched and waited for a while until the price was lower. Still, it was not cheap! These bags are hard to find in stores, so I did extensive online research reading reviews and watching videos from whatever sites I could find! Here's my two cents...

1. I LOVE the lotus lullaby print! I am very picky about my accessories and looked at a million different diaper bag designs and fabrics. I wanted something that wouldn't overpower whatever outfit I wear, but would still be striking and cute. I was worried that the silver lining would look cheap, but it's really quite nice. The material looks expensive and well made. I haven't washed it yet, so I hope it holds up in the long run.

2. The Be All bag... I had really been wanting the BFF, but I got this one instead. Mostly due to the great price I got. I like the overall sleek look of the Be All vs. The BFF's visible zippers and pockets on the front. However, the mommy pocket in the front flap is a bit odd-the flap sticks out, and the weight is front-heavy once you get your wallet in there. I do love the strong magnetic closure, and I think it's easier to get into a flap with one hand than struggling with a zipper. (when does a mommy ever have TWO free hands?!)

3. What it holds... It is not going to hold a massive amount of things or even a plush blanket without pushing it to it's limits. It WILL hold your essentials and some extras. The bottle pockets on each side are perfect for my Avent bottles with a little room to spare. Also, I love the key holder. I'll never Dig for my keys again! :)

4. Changing pad & crumb drains... The changing pad is very nice. However, I'm still trying to figure out why the crumb drains (open corners in the bottom seam of the bag) are in the changing pad section. It's not the pocket where you'll be keeping snacks. Maybe I'm missing something...but it doesn't make sense to me.

5. Messenger style... I really wish the strap was LONGER! I am 5'8" and am average/slim. I makes a great shoulder bag--nice wide, comfortable strap that doesn't slip! Love that! BUT... it seems too short when in wear it cross-body. I almost returned it because of it. On the ju ju be site, I read about updates they made to the bags, making the strap longer on the Be All. In my

opinion, it's still lacking. Just FYI, the straps are not removable. Also-there are metal loops on each side if you want to attach it

to your stroller or attach a paci pod. I haven't used stroller straps yet, but that bit of information was hard to find online.

Long review...but those are the things I wish I knew when I was searching for information. Oh, also-the yellowish color in the bag is really more of a muted olive green. Beautiful bag! I'm excited to have it! :-). Hope this review helps!

I purchased this bag with high hopes. I just loved the way it looked! The size and pockets also seemed to be what I was looking for as well. However, I find that there are a few design flaws with the bag. Firstly, the mommy pocket is located on the front flap of the bag. This is a problem because if you put something in it (like your wallet or phone), its difficult to flip open due to the weight. I don't think I carry anything unreasonable in the mommy pocket (iphone, wallet, keys). Make sure you test this out before purchasing the bag. In my opinion, they should have placed the changing pad where the front flap is, and put the mommy pocket where the changing pad is. Or, they should have placed a supporting material of some sort to support the flap. Secondly, the straps of the bag become wedged in the connecting clasps (where the straps meet the bag). Whenever the weight shifts from carrying the bag, the strap slides from side to side of the clasp, causing the bag to look funny and feel unbalanced. I would suggest that they use a stronger/thicker material for the straps to avoid this problem. As it stands, the straps are made of too thin of a material, and cause this problem. Again, try putting some weight in the bag before purchasing and see how it feels.I purchased the bag in Black/Silver, so these problems may be specific to the color. I give this bag 3 stars because it is a nice bag, it just has a few issues that I hope they resolve if they update the design.

I will be honest, at first I disliked the thickness of the shoulder strap, but now I couldn't imagine using a different bag. I have 6 children and it wasn't until my 5th that my husband and I bought this bag. All the diaper bags we've had before were name brand (Carter's) so they were of good quality, but just never we're great, they could have always been a little better. Well...JuJuBe figured out that 'little better' we were looking for.

The bag has a mommy pocket in the front flap that is wonderful for all the little things that you need but never have room for. It also has a ton of room in the main compartment because of the way that they added all the mesh pockets for holding all the diapers, clothes & wipe in place.

I use this bag for my 21 month old & my 6 week old both. I have enough room in it to carry all I need for both a toddler and an infant, that has to say something in itself.

I LOVE this bag!!

I was so excited to receive my Ju Ju Be Be All Diaper Bag at my baby shower. Ju Ju Be has some very cute patterns and the material seemed to be more durable then the petunia pickle bottom bags which always seem ratty after some time.

Pros: There is pleny of space in this bag. If you need a bigger diaper bag for daily use buy a full size rolling suitcase. You can fit what you need for daily outings and not have to constantly refill, diapers, toys, an outfit, wipes, etc. For weekend trips you will need another bag. There are plenty of pockets inside, outside could use one or two more. The light color inside makes things easy to find.

Cons:

I agree with some other reviewers the "Mommy Pocket" is useless as it is in the front flap of the bag which does not need to be any bulkier. Also another reviewer mentioned the straps slide out of place. I am constantly readjusting the straps on this bag many times a day which is frustrating. The bottle pockets with silver relective material on the side gets dirty and frayed fast. Many people have commented that the bag does not hold it's shape, and it does look like a floppy mess after a few uses. These things I could have lived with, until my bag has become completely faded after 6 months of use! For me the key to Ju Ju Be is how cute all the patterns look on their bags, well mine looked cute for about 3 months. Now it just looks like worn outdoor furniture. I was not planning on having to replace this expensive diaper bag so soon. I will not be buying another Ju Ju Be bag.

Update: After this review my Ju Ju Be has been sitting the closet, too much of a disaster to show in public, as if mom's need any more help looking tired. My Husband bought me the Skip Hop Deluxe Duo for my birthday six months ago and I think it is wonderful! It has clips sewn into the bag that attach to your stroller for a clean look, much easier than the Ju Ju Be metal clips which break your nails. My husband also is able to carry this bag without embarassment, as for the Ju Ju Be bag, he carried it like a sick and wet allergic cat. For the price of the Ju Ju Be bag you could buy two Skip Hop Bags! Spend money on your stroller, not your diaper bag.

First off, if your looking for a BIG diaper bag, dont get this. This is more of your medium size diaper bag. If your looking to take a full weeks worth of diapers, food, changing clothes and more... dont get this bag. But, if you want a good weekend or day outting, this bag is PERFECT!

You wont find Ju Ju Be products in any mainstream retail shop, its to expensive. But for what you get, the price is perfect. You get anti-microbrial materials which I love. You get great quality materials, that my wife and I both love. From the moment you look at the bag you know its not cheap. The zippers and pullys are metal and not plastic (heavier quality metals). The bag radiates of style and quality. The included changing mate is great, feels better than any cheapy to ok ones i've seen at babies R u or targeet, or wallmart. There are enough pockets to keep things separated. The insulated side pouches are great for keeping bottles warm or cold for awhile.

I only wish Ju Ju Be would make a larger size bag than the Be All, which is their biggest so far.

I highly recommend this to anyone willing to pay their higher price, but its well worth every penny. This bag should definitely last a lifetime, I wouldn't be surprised is you pass this on to your kids when they get pregnant themselves!
