Very cute, good durability. There is a clear pocket in the front to keep your most important trains:) My 3 year old loves it!

I purchased this backpack along with a Thomas lunchbox for my son's first year of preschool. I really like the durability of this bag. You can stuff it full and it stays strong. The colors are vibrant and the front bag is great for small items (like trains). The reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because one of the zipper's fabrics started to fray. It's an easy fix...I will probably find a key chain to replace the fabric. If your son or daughter is a Thomas fan, this is a must gift. He/she will love it! It isn't a full scale size backpack, so it works well for a preschooler.

I bought this backpack for my son to take to preschool. It's a good size and it seems to be built well, but there's a petroleum smell to the plastic that's really strong. I kept the backpack because my son loves it. He hasn't used it yet (it's for next school year). It's been sitting out on his dresser for 3 months now and the smell has dissipated some, but it's still noticeable a little.

This bag is just the right size for my 2 1/2 old. He is a big Thomas fan and love anything with Thomas on it.
