Bombata Classic Laptop Briefcase

I am not sure why the other reviewer thinks this would fit a 17 inch mac book, but I bought this for my Mac Book Air, and I love it. It is super light weight, and slim and keeps me from carrying too much junk around with me. My previous bag was huge and I would carry too much. I get tons of compliments from it, but occasionally get a friendly teasing from clients for carrying a man purse. I am not sure how durable this is, and how long the zippers will last, but for the money, I am a happy camper.

I absolutely love this bag. The color is intense and the design is just about perfect. My only complaint is that if one is going to use the shoulder strap, one must attach it to the very small loops (also dyed the same brilliant color of the bag) made from nylon (or something that seems/looks durable)... but after a few uses, these little loops start to show signs of wear. This does not make sense nor is it really acceptable. The entire bag, except for the tiny loops, is great and I would buy it again... however, I now focus on using the handle and not the strap because the last thing I want to do is have the bag suddenly snap off while I have it on my shoulder.

I would strongly advise the manufacturer to reconsider the strength and size of those loops. I understand it was a cosmetic choice. They didn't want to have big metal rings jutting off the top, ruining the lines of the design. At the same time, they will defeat the purpose of someone actually being able to enjoy it as a shoulder bag, which is often essential for me as I ride crowded trains and must have my hands free to hold on to straps and bars.

Otherwise, the Bombata is truly a thing of beauty and I think it is very fairly priced (in the States at least). If you are fashion-conscious and usually hold your bags by the handle, I think you will be quite happy with this purchase.

Bombata Classic Laptop BriefcaseI originally purchased this bag for a 17" MacBook Pro and was sadly disappointed when it didn't fit. The diagonal dimension is 17". This will fit a 15" MacBook Pro. However, I now have a MacBook AIR and LOVE the case for this purpose. It is well designed, durable and keeps everything well organized. I have the classic and love the finish. It does come in an Oyster and a "coco". One upgrade to the design that I would suggest is devising a better storage system for cables and power cords. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of pockets. Also, a couple of rings inside to clip your keys to would be nice.

I'm not sure why it claims to fit a 17 inch laptop my macbook pro 17 inch DOES NOT FIT. It claims there are two sizes, but I never got to select a size, so I assumed it would fit. Guess not!
