low profile design is handy. There are enough compartments but the pockets are a bit tight and may not fit all you need when traveling. For instance the Bose headset in case makes the backpack bulge and doesn't accommodate other items well like your PC power adapter. The zippers don't slide all the way down for the rear 2 compartments. The laptop area zipper only slides 3/4 way down the side. Also the design is a bit blah. Its essentially a black box. Not as stylish as the Tumi, not as utilitarian as the Everki.

I am a busy physician who does several educational presentations each year. I have a beautiful Tumi laptop case but it had become too cumbersom through airport security lately. I had another laptop back pack but it was cumbersome going through security. I was on a trip when the zipper broke on the old bag. Having Briggs and Riley luggage it was the first thing I looked for, I had never seen the clamshell before this and immediately fell in love with it. I travel about 10 months out of the year for business and I put may bags through a lot. I have yet to have an issue with my Briggs and Riley bags and I am sure this will hold up just the same way.

Going through airport security is much easier, no more taking the laptop out, just unzip and flip and your bag and laptop are going through the scanner.
