9162 Khaki Vintage Mini Star Backpack

I actually realized after I bought it that it was slightly larger than I'd needed (stupid me), but when it came time to return it, I just liked it too much! It's vintage, cute, and has just enough space for anything you want to carry from a waterbottle to books to a wallet to an iPod. It doesn't have a cell phone case, but I just put mine in the side pocket because I only have one water bottle on me at any time.

I was hoping to have this backpack like a big purse to hold all of my stuff.I was also hoping to carry some water and be my all day pack, so I could take it to an amusement park.

Pros;

#1 Has the perfect amount of pockets!

#2 TWO! Water bottle holders! Though they hard to put a bottle in the water bottle holders it is very tight!! I think if I hung this bag upside down they would

still hold!

#3 Stylish!

#4 Amazing amounts of complements on this backpack!

#5 Four pockets all together!

#6 Not very big, but not too small... Just right!

#7 Love the color! I can get it dirty and throw it into the wash and it will be just like new!

Cons;

#1 No little storage pockets inside

#2 Not thick like most backpacks not thin material like a tee shirt.

#3 Not a lot of padding on shoulder straps. :/

#4 Buckles on the sides do nothing except keep your bag from looking like a balloon if you fill it too much. I find that they get in the way though so I unclip them

lot to get into the pockets.

#5 Does not have a waterproof barrier that you like you find in lunch bags. So if something spills onto the bag it will leak through. :/

So I give this backpack a 4 Star review!

P.S. If you are thinking this as a gift for a teen I would highly advise this! I gave it to a 16 year old girl for her Birthday and she totally loved it!!

I've had this bag for a little under 2 years now. Other than the occasional string poping out from the inside of the bag, it's held itself together through many trips from place to place. I've used it for just about everything from laptops to medkits. All in all, I absolutly love this bag and would buy it again if the one I have ever gives out.

I purchased this for San Diego Comic Con. I needed a backpack but didn't want something too big that I would have to lug around with me all day. This backpack functioned just fine and is cool looking. My only complaint is that since it is made out of natural fabric, it soaks up sweat. I know that is kind of gross but San Diego in July is hot & humid and the back panel of this pack was soaked at the end of the day...
