THE BEST FEATURE is the dedicated pocket for your power adapter, located along the bottom front of the bag. My biggest worry with slim bags is that you have to cram the power adapter in the front pocket and it presses on the middle of the laptop screen. Also, that wastes a ton of space in accessory pockets. This solves that problem and also puts that weight at the bottom so the bag sits better.
A couple things to consider...
This is a less expensive bag, which means it's not going to take a ton of abuse. The fabrics are thin and the zippers are not heavy-duty. HOWEVER, the zippers have nice pulls and work very smoothly, and the stitching is VERY well done. I would certainly prefer this over a heavy-duty fabric with poor workmanship. I have ordered 6 of these bags and all of them have arrived perfect, and my clients love them.
The shoulder strap is not removable and doesn't swivel. I use the shoulder strap most of the time, and it's not bulky, so this doesn't bother me. If you don't want the strap, it can be tightened around the bottom of the bag to keep it out of the way.
