Booq Boa Flow XL Backpack for 17-Inch Laptops, Black/Red (BFXL-BLR)

Booq Boa Flow XL Backpack for 17-Inch Laptops, Black/RedThings that have broken: Top handle, both of the main zippers, stitching on main seam, neoprene bottle holders. This is a great bag, over engineered in every way but the assembly. I want to love this bag, but mostly, I just want it not to fall apart. I admit, I'm not easy on stuff, but for the price it should at least last through the kind of overstuffing that any college student would put it through. Booq sent me another bag for free, but it's the exact same product. It'll disintegrate soon. We'll see if they send me a third bag. Bought it from Amazon back in December 2011, received it in Jan. First major failure (zipper) was in Feb., followed by the neoprene bottle holders, handle (March) then the main seam. Maybe you'll be luckier than I was, but if you're on the fence, I'd stay away.

A great bag, full of organization. Was big, too cumbersome for daily use. A little too glossy exterior for my tastes, but this is probably a waterproofing. All in all above average.

This was the third Booq backpack I've owned as I thought it was an upgrade from the Booq Boa 3 (I also still own a Booq Python XL). Overall, the design and layout is good, and I especially liked the front camera compartment, but the front organizer pocket is poorly designed (the internal Booq Boa 3 organizer was much better).

My biggest complaint is that several zipper pulls pulled out from the slider. Booq needs to install a zipper pull with a smaller gap between the pull and the slider so that the pull does not separate.

I love my booq bag. This thing has a spot for anything. It is comfortable to wear and holds all my gadgets that i use on a regular basis. It needs a more descriptive info sheet as there are so many pockets. I found a few pockets weeks after i started using it. I carry a sizeable laptop and charger, a tablet a phone or 2 a notebook (paper type)a few flash drives, a portable hard drive, various cables, an ipod, and a camera, or 2, along with pens pencils and sharpies there is a place for everything and many ways to organize and reorganize to fit you perfectly. The thing is comfortable with padded straps and good ventilated back. I was worried about spending so much on a pack but 3 months+of daily use and no signs of wear or damage especially from someone who is notoriously rough on bags makes me feel great about recommending this bag. My booq bag is lovingly called megabag around the house because it holds almost everything. It is like the body of a swiss army knife for your gadgets.

I have had this bag for a while now, and all I really need to add is how awesome Booq supports their product. If you're looking for a medium-large sized bag with a ton of utility slots, this would be it.
