The concept is great and I used them on 1 trip, but after opening and closing twice during the trip, the seams came apart so the compression aspect was lost.

bags are a good size and weight to store small woolen blankets. clips to seal bags fall off the end. i have these same bags from packmate manufactured in japan i obtained many years ago and they close easily and the clip stay in place. seems like overall quality has decreased and fails to meet previous standards.

I purchased and use my first set of bags in 2004. I have moved and reused three time since. Although a bit more expensive than the locally purchased bags, these bags are definitely more durable and never came undone or had any leaks during storage or my travels.
