I bought this a year ago for my daughter for preschool. I was looking for something big enough to fit a change of clothes in and a snack, but not so big she couldn't carry it. This worked perfectly. It's held up quite well, the zipper is easy for her to use and it wipes clean. I'm not sure how well it will hold up when we start toting heavier stuff like books but it was perfect for preschool/dance and we had a lot of comments on how cute it was.
I had a preschool Gap backpack. The problem is, it wouldn't fit the folder that my three year old had to bring home every day. So, I got this one. On the bright side, this backpack did fit the folder. I was however disappointed at the quality of this back pack. She has been using it for about three months, and she isn't hard on it. I usually carry it for her and hang it up and school. It stays in the car otherwise. The zipper is already fraying and some strings at seams are already stating to come off. I think we are going to have to go with a different brand here soon. Also, the straps are a bit wide, so she has a hard time keeping on her shoulders when she does carry it. So, while this product is cute, and it does fit a normal sized folder, I would not buy this product again because it is falling apart after minimal use.
