My 9-year-old uses this as his gear bag for swimming. It holds a towel, sunscreen, water, and swimsuit just fine. It has more trouble holding clothes and shoes along with the swim stuff. It has been reasonably durable, but after about a month of daily use, it has gotten a tear where the mesh meets the nylon bottom of the bag.

This is too small for anything practical.Maybe some suntan lotion,things like that,but I couldn't even put my water shoes in the bag while walking across the beach!If it has a practical use ,it is for kids to play with.Better things out there and they do sell stuff at the beach.

So far this has worked very well holding items I take to the pool with me. I keep the sunscreen and items loaded in it so it is always ready to go with me. It is especially helpful that it is mesh and dries out quickly, should it get wet.
