I saw this item that looked perfect. I have an old LLBEAN bag that is getting a bit worn and I thought I would get a cool messenger bag for my new MAC laptop. The bag looks supple and casual as opposed to business-like and formal. The big flap attracted me and the price was very attractive. The problem is that while the shape and style are accurately portrayed, it looks cheesy in person. The leather is rough, not finished very well, and not lined, it feels cheap and just appears to be the inexpensive bag it is. I should have know from the price. On the bright side, the people are really nice. I returned it no problem and got my refund in a timely manner.

I have received many compliments on this bag. It is high quality leather. As a side note, this has a vintage style look to it hence the 'distressed' reference in the title. If you want something smooth and more polished do not purchase this bag. However I love the 'worn' look and it still looks very attractive and nice. It feels like suede. The dark chocolate color goes with any outfit you wear. If you are a male and are looking for a 'purse' bag to put all your belongings this is what you want. Perfect size to wear across your chest and the bag features several different pockets and compartments. I can tell this bag will be with me for many years to come!

Bought this for my husband as a present. I thought that it would be too small, however it is the perfect size for him. A laptop could easily fit, however he uses it for his diary and other papers, it fits letter size papers and folders perfectly. The leather is different, but nice. The color too is great, it looks like it could be black but it is really a very deep chocolate brown, that way it goes with any outfit. The strap is really sturdy. This was a great purchase.

I received it before schedule. the bag is great. I do not put a laptop in it, but I did check to see if my 15" would fit..yeap. this is my everyday bag for papers/lunch/makeup jeez you would be shocked at how much fits in it. love the look and feel...

By far, this is the very best messenger bag I have ever seen or had the pleasure of owning. The quality is amazing for the price; I would have expected to pay $200.00 or more in a retail store for this bag. The leather is perfect, the color is a deep rich earthy brown, and the hardware is solid brass with an antiqued patina. My Dell Switch laptop fits perfectly in this bag and there is still plenty of room left for a book or two, date planner, and other miscellaneous items. This bag has several compartments, some with snaps, some with zippers, and several slots for pens, business cards, and so on. I will use this bag for years to come.
