ShedRain 2041A 58-Inch Arc Auto Open Jumbo Umbrella

I opened the umbrella and one of the pieces was broken. I was camping, setting up a homestead and didnt have much extra time, so by the time I got around to contacting amazon about replacing it, I had just missed the 30 day time limit, so they said I had to contact shedrain. To get it replaced by shedrain you have to download their PDF and fill it out, which I have yet to get the time to figure out how to do that from my ipad, which is my main communication device out here in the jungle. So I still have it layin around. I hate to throw it away, hopefully one of these days I'll send it back to shedrain and get it replaced. I bought a Totes umbrella for my daughter to take to school and its still holding up well

This umbrella is good. I like the auto open feature and it is really big. It doesn't catch on to anything when it is fully open which kind of bugs me. It seems like when the weather is terrible and the rain is really coming down, the weight of the rain will cause the umbrella to cave in a bit since nothing is holding it up, but I haven't gotten to try that out yet. It's very pretty though.

This is my second ShedRain umbrella. I got this one to replace the previous one which I had for 10 years. The big canopy provides great coverage and is easy to open as well as close. The first one I had a nicely shaped wooden handle (curvy to fit a hand), but this one which I thought also came with a wooden handle arrived with some other sort of handle -a composite plastic or something like that. It is fine, but I liked the traditional wood. This umbrella is sturdy enough to last a long time and worth the price. If you are looking for something very light and small, this is not the model for you. It is a little on the heavy side and still fairly long when closed.
