I bought this bag to carry my things to and from work while i am deployed. It does the job of keeping my things together and with me, but it is definitely not a bag that will get used once i return home. I gave it 4 stars because the first 2 days of having it the zipper strap came off 4 times. I had to use a leatherman to pinch the clamps down because they werent very secure. Other than that i have no other complaints. Its a decent size, and carries whatever i stuff in it.I'm a third year college student and purchased this to carry textbooks, school supplies as well as act as a purse on campus. main pocket is very roomy. the quality is okay for daily light use, would not say this is a heavy weight pack. pleased with this simplicity and spaciousness of the bag despite reading some negative reviews. can't beat the price.I wanted a cheap bag to put emergency supplies in that I keep in the car. This was perfect, it holds all my emergency water/food/fire/radio, ect... It doesn't get any use really so I can't comment on durability.I ripped the top seam almost completely in half the first time I tried to put it on. It had a sweatshirt, a t-shirt and a normal sized water bottle in it but just from separating the straps I managed to completely ruin it. Jansport makes a similar one I had gotten for $25 and lasted a few years. Spend the extra money and get that. I would compare the build quality of this backpack to be slightly less good than that of those mesh reusable shopping bags you get at supermarkets. Never would have bought if I had seen it in real life. This backpack ripped in 2 places in a couple of weeks. Don't bother buying it. Spend a little more and get a backpack that is decent quality.
