High Peak Trango 65 Backpack

I bought this item from a company called Camping Maxx and soon after purchase, discovered a flaw in the construction. The response from the retailer via the manufacture reps from High Peak was "put a piece of tape over it because they are all like that because it's a new line." Not exactly the response I was looking for as a new customer of the retailer and of High Peak items!! I just said "thank you" and considered it a valuable lesson learned. I've since stopped looking at items from both retailer and High Peak though I don't really know yet whether it is a minor or a major flaw. Regardless, it was enough for a newbie like me to discover so I seriously question the quality control on any future items. QC and the response are enough for me to steer clear though I do like the lightweight bag. I've been told by more experienced backpackers that the shoulder straps are not thick enough so that may be another thing. I've managed to keep my pack weight under 22 pounds and am not doing thru hiking yet so, so far, it has been fine hence the generous three stars.
