SwissGear SA1172 Dark Blue and Red Trim Messenger

I bought this messenger bag to carry my laptop and a lot of paperwork and textbooks. It holds an amazing amount of stuff and seems to be well made. I wish it had a bit more padding for the laptop, however, along with another small pocket on the side. There is a good-sized organizer pocket on the front, but the sleeves for the pen holders are too short to really hold the pens in. I'd also like a few more slots for pens. But overall, this is a very nice bag that even fully loaded is well balanced when I carry it with the shoulder strap. Well worth the price I paid.

I put my computer in it and it fits well. Easy to carry over the shoulder and bring my lab top everywhere I go.

This item does not live up to the quality I expected from SwissGear. Our family has multiple SG backpacks and I expected similar material here. What I got was very flimsy. Usable but not at all what I expected.

I bought the bag for my laptop and textbooks and yes I read the other reviews be for hand. My laptop fit fine. The wish for more padding is repeated with me also. The bag is fine for one thing but not for both my laptop and text books. I now wish I have sent a little more money and got what I started to get in the frist place before the price on this one stopped me.

I love swiss items. Pretty cool looking bag with nice zippers and comfortable shoulder strap. My only complaint is that it only has 1 water bottle holder. Great buy!
