More so, the primary pocket also has an inner elastic pocket that I found quite useful for stowing my laptop (about 14 inch screen) and still had plenty of room for the accessories, plus textbooks, folders, and notebooks. The webbing complies with the military MOLLE standard, which allows you to attach all sorts of accessories to the available spaces on the inside and outside (hint: triple M-4 mag pouches also work really well for carrying water bottles or beer!) and one more little feature: There is space and a pass through for a hydration system.
As far as durability? Give one to your high school freshman and he'll graduate with it.
Simply put: Awesome pack, you'll save money over having to purchase other bags, it (black) looks cool, it's versatile, and it's quite comfy to carry about (hiked the grand canyon!)I've had the black version of this pack for over six months now. It has exceeded my expectations which were pretty high to begin with.
My briefcase-style laptop case prior to this was killing my back and I needed something replace it that was big enough to fit a laptop and accessories in, but not ridiculously huge. Oh, and it needed to not kill my back with daily use.
This thing is the perfect size for pretty much everything I've used it for, although I would think it's a little small for a long camping trip unless you're going in commando or survivalist mode. And it pretty much has every feature imaginable. You could strap steaks to it and put this thing into a T-Rex cage and it would come out intact with all your stuff still neatly stowed away. Even if it was swallowed whole.
As someone already mentioned, there is an insulated pouch inside the main compartment to hold a water bladder, not included, (it also has built in elastic keepers and appropriate holes for the straw/hose thing to lace through and attach on the shoulder strap) that is also the perfect size for a laptop. I was pleasantly surprised by that because it wasn't mentioned in the description. Since it's a pretty elastic compartment, you could fit various sizes of electronics or water bladders in it and they will stay in place and be protected and insulated. The main pocket also has a full zippered mesh compartment in it as well on the back side of the middle compartment separator. You can have the main compartment completely unzipped but still closed thanks to the way the compression straps are placed. Very helpful for carrying oddly-shaped things or wet clothes. (There are drain holes in the bottom as well.)
There are two more zippered compartments and all three compartments have water resistant panels between them as another added bonus. The middle compartment has an array of zippered mesh pockets that you can put all kinds of junk in. My initial impression was that the mesh pockets wouldn't hold up since they're very light weight but they've been very durable and the zippers are all very sturdy. The front zippered pocket has a short divider with some pockets and a clip (usually clip my flash drives on it, but is also sturdy enough for keys, etc.) There are also the two hidden pockets as well which are way bigger than they look in the picture and not obvious at all on the black model. All the outside zippers are the heavy duty, covered, no-snag zippers and I've had no issues with them at all. Stitching is heavy duty as well. The top handle has a removable velcro strap cushion.
Overall, this pack has enough room for a huge laptop in a hard case, files, notebooks, recording interface, etc. in the main compartment, power cords, adapters, ipod, mouse, laptop lock, firewire cords, random notebooks, etc. in the middle compartment, and several flash drives, pens, post-it notes, glasses case, etc. in the front pocket. And that's about half full with the compression straps tightened. I've also used it for day-long biking trips (stayed well in place with the stabilizer strap clipped on), hiking, as a gym bag and an overnight bag. Plenty of space and pockets. Very versatile and is hardly showing any wear even though it is usually filled with my "mobile office/recording studio" on a daily basis and I've been really trying to beat the crap out of it.
The shoulder strap took a little getting used to for me because, although well padded, it's the hard condura fabric that can be unforgiving and it's pretty wide. Figured it would dig into my neck and I'd end up taking a blow torch to it. However, I've come to really like it and when you cinch the shoulder strap and cross strap up tight, this thing does not move. I don't use the stabilizer strap very often, but you can tuck that away (mostly) under the back pad. The hip pad part still sticks out, but it keeps the strap out of the way.
This thing is covered in molle compatible straps, inside and out. If you need add-ons, there are plenty of configurations to choose from. I thought it would look a little extreme using it everyday since I work in an office, but on the contrary, I've been asked several times where I bought it and gotten complements on how comfortable it looks from people who are searching for a similar sling-style bag for their laptop. I would also put money down that this will outlast a majority of the trendy bags my fellow hikers and bikers had as well.
Durable, comfortable, versatile, lots of room and compartments that will compress if you don't need them, stays in place and has a very high coolness factor for both features and look. Oh, my back feels much better after switching to this pack. It's worth the money, for sure.

I needed a new backpack for my everyday carry. The backpack I was using was a laptop backpack. It was boxy, it was hell on my back, and it was bulky. I am sure its a good backpack if your a business person or yuppy. The Molle Tactical sling bag is awesome. Its made out of tough fabric, it has multiple pockets and compartments. Its very comfortable on the back. It fits my body well, though I look like a dork wearing it (I look like a dork anyway.) It has a secondary attachment so the backpack isn't sliding around. A compartment and opening for a water bladder. That compartment can easily hold a tablet pc, a netbook and maybe even a laptop. Buy a neoprene case if you really want to be on the safe side, and yes that will fit into the compartment. I use the zipper compartments for my hand sanitizer, acid reflux, and hand lotion. I have so much extra room in the bad to add stuff for my edc.
Great backpack overall. You can beat the crap out of this pack. Its tough stuff. I love this backpack.

pretty much exactly what I was looking for. The CCW pockets are perfect (for me). Got the universal holster that is velcro'd in. Strongly built and many pockets for much storage. Will be my daily carry bag. Also got the American Flag velro attachment to put on the front of the bag.Want Molle Tactical Sling BAG Backpack --Acu, Tan, Black, Od Green Discount?
I didn't really want a backpack, as I already had one. But I did want one I could grab, sling over my shoulder quickly and go. This bag fit the bill nicely. I haven't used it as a 'sling', but for the little I do carry it, I have no problems. Any of the positive reviews above I will vouch for. This bag is TOUGH!!! All the connectors are as good as some military grade stuff I've seen at work, and the hardware is very heavy duty. The addition of MOLLE pouches will allow you to fix this up any way you see fit, and it is incredibly configurable. The water bladder section is more than ample, and I imagine you might be able to fit a couple of smaller ones in that area. All considered, I don't have anything negative to say about this bag. If you need a tough 'grab and go' bag that can hold up to a beating, this is the one.
