To start, this bag is an awesome bag, great fit nice look, plenty of space, having said that, i was really looking for a bag that would last me especially since i deploy a lot and carry a bag at almost all times. When loaded up moved around a lot, i find that i already have popped seams, and in some areas, separation is beginning to occur, something that i was not expecting 3 mos into ownership. overall good bag, but not very durable...
I am a weekly business traveler and was looking for a bag with this specific feature (airport security checkpoint friendly) to get through the checkpoints quicker. This is a MUST HAVE. It's increditbly light, has waterproof sealed zippers, an unexpected bonus, is mostly water repellant plus all the other features it boasts about in the product description. I was carrying an old Dell laptop backpack that was honestly just too bulky and weighed a good 5 lbs before you put anything in it. I took a chance on this Incipio Expat Backpack it had no reviews... but I am glad I did. MOST IMPORTANT TO ME with the laptop housing sitting so far back in the backpack, it will not tip over when you set it down. Its sits straight up when setting ont he floor, the passenger seat in the car or on top of your carry on bag. (Its the little things) And of course Getting through security has never been easier. I definitely recommend for a frequent business traveler, or anyone who has a need to get through airport security quickly. The straps are a little stiff but with frequent use, I fully expect for them to soften up a bit. Great backpack!
