I love the idea of how small this umbrella is. And the fact that it can be put away in the zipped case and throw it back into my purse/bag. What I don't like about this umbrella is that it is hard to open. I have to use a lot of strength to push open the umbrella. It is not auto-close/open. And when I try to close the umbrella with the strap, it doesn't fold up neatly. I had to line up each individual folds (you know when you pull the strap to wrap around the umbrella) inorder to minimize the bulky-ness.
