the capacity of this bag is good for a day trip.
and the removable waist belt is convenient, too.
it has a inner hydration pocket.
hope more a inner small article pocket, and little bigger side pocket for keeping water bottles.
We had an earlier model of this pack previously and decided to upgrade. We are overall pleased with the upgrades. The bungee system on the outside seems to be a nice improvement. The added exterior pocket is nice as well. The two small complaints my wife had were that the new configuration of the hip strap was a little irritating. I find it personally to be a nice addition, in that it can be removed as the older pack it was sewn on. She doesnt like how if you pull the straps out too much they can come off...
And secondly was the location of a small retaining clip for hydration hoses. a nice thought, but it was in a location that no matter where it was moved, would rub on my wives arm whilst walking.
Other than those two small issues, its a wonderful pack for small day trips and the like. Recommend it highly.
