This is a great backpack! Very comfortable to carry around and feels really durable and well made. I'm very happy with my purchase. The top reflector works great and is a nice safety add by Eagle Creek, but the two side "reflectors" don't do much reflecting that i could see. The top carry loop seems a little too thin compared to the back straps, but has held up well so far. The front mesh pocket is large enough for a quick retrieval of my rain jacket, and i've even placed wet smelly socks in there to air dry. This is my second Eagle Creek backpack (1st one is over 10 years old and still like new), and first Afar backpack with a laptop compartment. The Afar holds my Mac Pro snug and secure, love the hidden zipper to access this compartment! I highly recommend the Afar backpack for college, work or play!
