The only thing about it that is awful is the clamp that keeps the strap at your preferred length. The teeth on the clamp are very weak and it will most likely open up during your walk to the metro, causing the strap to get longer until the bag is bouncing off the back of your leg with each step. However, this only seems to be a problem when I put my gym clothes in the bag, so just don't over stuff it and it'll be fine.
For the price this bag is really good. The shoulder support strap is comfortable and the size of the bag is just about perfect. If Incase made better strap clamps this bag would be absolutely pimp.

I have a 15" Macbook Pro (Mid 2010 model), which fits perfectly inside the notebook compartment inside the bag. There is a Velcro strap that secures the laptop inside the compartment, without rubbing against the laptop itself. The compartment is lined with a smooth material that will not damage the Macbook's aluminum finish, which is an important detail. The bottom of the bag can expand if necessary to carry bulky items. There is a pocket inside that fits an iPad (although I don't have one to try). There is also a zippered pocket with mesh pockets inside of it that can hold video adapters, mice, pens, etc. The strap is adjustable in length, but not removable. Lastly, the main flap is held down with both plastic buckles and Velcro. This makes it difficult to open with only one hand free, but holds the bag closed very securely. I can't recommend this bag enough if you own a 15" Macbook, or any other 15" laptop that's close to the same dimensions. Highly recommended!Read Best Reviews of Incase Designs Nylon Messenger - Notebook carrying case - 15 Inch - black Here
I use this bag to hold a 14" laptop, associated accessories, and the usual workday items i need. I can even fit a decent sized umbrella in this bag. The outside material is nice but the overall bag is thin so it doesn't have much structural rigidity i.e. it won't stand up on it's own.The real negative for me though is that the clasp that is used to lock the shoulder strap in place very easily becomes loose and the strap very quickly becomes too long. It's amazing how bad this design is because I own so many other incase products that do not have any kind of deficiency like this.

I bought this bag based on the internet pics and opinions. Unfortunately I did not realize that my enthusiasm wasbased on 2008 design. What I got is a cut version of that bag, looks like somebody came and "worked" on the bag
to cut production costs. Although overall the bag is OK, but you for sure can find more intelligent designs (like the
2008 seemed to be) and I honestly feel cheated...so to the point:
1) the detachable strap is gone
2) the light reflecting stripe got reduced to two small patches...great, biker's safety got a bit compromised by that
3) the inner fur padding is idiotically
located only on the one side of the laptop compartment; why the heck would you need it there? the tablet compartment and
the smartphone one are the places, as both have big exposed screens; well, it's no longer there, left only in one
place where it's completely useless;
4) the very inside (on the topo material) small pockets are gone..."thanks"
5) the pocket for phone/small things is nothing special, small, simple material, no fur padding
6) no key stash in the arm strap pad
I suggest thinking twice before buying the bag, as the competition in messenger bags is tight and everything is about
optimizing the design. Well, here it seems that Incase took a step backwards, and
probably driven by the raving opinions that both 15" and 17" bags got when introduced,
decided to secretly cut the costs as nobody would notice. Hmm...I've noticed.
